Christine K. said "Yes, I would book again!"
"My crew and I did a cookbook shoot at this place and it was perfect. Lots of room, lots of surfaces, easy to load and unload our equipment. We look forward to coming back for our next shoot."

City of Paris Studios- Event Space, Production Space and Gallery in Oakland on the Emeryville border is now finalizing plans with the City of Oakland and Alameda County to undergo a major renovation to house a coffee Shop!
Look for us to sport our new (Reclaimed) Storefront behind our roll up security doors which is planned to be open in December 2022 from 5am-3PM. We will still be available to rent for private meetings and Events after the coffee shop closing hours of 3pm. Look up COWBOYCOFFEEOAKLAND.COM to see the progress pics and next year to book a Corporate or Private Event. Thanks ya'll!
Owner and Bay area local Debra Buckley, is a Local#38 Union plumbing apprentice, and has been working as a Licensed tile contractor doing custom tile work in bay area homes for the past 25+ years.
Debra has taken courses in Interior Design, Drafting, Welding, Ceramics, Ceramic Sculpture, Painting, Color, Textiles and Furniture Design.
Debra with the help of family and friends, as well as other skilled artisans over the past 20 years -invested all her time, money, blood sweat and tears into converting what WAS City of Paris Cleaners and Dyers to be usable living and working spaces. Once the Machinery was removed and major repairs and upgrades were made, the ideas started evolving to make real the potential they saw there -to create the beautiful oasis Event Space, Gallery and live work space that it is today.
Debra never stops! She's reinventing it again to change as the area changes (and to create BETTER changes!) The goal is to offer Good Simple Strong Coffee just as Debra's grandmother made it - the rustic COWBOY brew. Using Old methods as well as offering new brew methods - to bring back to the roots of what grew the coffee culture we have today. There will be feature of the month write ups to learn how coffee's and teas are made in other countries.
While space is being re-constructed we will post more pics of the progress!
